COVID-19 Update

“Following the announcement of the “roadmap”, The CAS is preparing to reopen on or about October 25. The roadmap is subject to further fine-tuning and health advice if circumstances change drastically or if cases within a designated area remain too high. https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/freedoms-for-fully-vaccinated-people
These are the conditions under which we will reopen:
For the theatre to be allowed to reopen and have events, all CAS staff and patrons must be fully vaccinated (or have a current medical exemption certificate) as a condition of operation, in addition to following density limits. This includes all theatre staff, ushers, cast and crew.
We will be able to reopen at 75 per cent capacity. It is expected that a vaccination “tick” will be incorporated into the Service NSW app.
Attached is the link for exemptions to be filled out by your doctor and shown if you can’t be double-vaccinated. covid-19-vaccine-contraindication.pdf (nsw.gov.au)
Please ask any questions and we’ll try to answer them.”

Meet Deborah Hudson

Sharing the wonder of creative expression is my purpose in life and I feel so blessed to have been able to help students tap into their creativity during my 35 years of teaching.

Teaching art has opened many doors for me. I’ve taught in craft stores as well as in schools at all levels including TAFE and Atwea College. I’ve judged art events, given demonstrations at shopping centres, been a radio presenter and guest speaker at conferences, and even wrote the craft column for the Newcastle Herald.
