Trainer Thida Meaks has been connected to the beauty industry for 15 years. Starting with a beauty therapy course back in 2006, her love for the industry has only grown since then. In 2010, she studied a Diploma of Specialist Make-Up and in 2014 completed her Diploma of Beauty Therapy. She started working in day spas but eventually moved into laser clinics which sparked her love for results-driven skin treatments and more advanced peels.

Thida also freelances as a make-up artist specialising in fresh bridal make-up, spray tans and is also an eyelash technician. Thida now teaches beauty with Atwea College which she finds invigorating. She loves nurturing people’s passion in the industry, combining her love for learning and education with beauty. It’s her dream job! She wants to stay with Atwea because of its approach to education, and the support of the staff and community. She feels so proud to work for a company that gives back to the community.

Thida says she is filled with corny sayings and is a nerd at heart. She loves technology, reading and writing, a bit of gaming, dabbles in photography and set herself a challenge to read 24 books in 2021 which she achieved. We are so fortunate to have Thida as part of our team.
