Meet Kathryn Puckerdige
Kathryn started training with us 2 years ago. From January this year Kathryn has been training the Diploma of Community Services with Atwea. She is an expert in her field of Community Services. This qualification has not been undertaken with Atwea for some time now. Kathryn commenced training in this Diploma with 8 students with some students not working in this field prior to commencing, 2 students are in the work place.
Kathryn has worked over and beyond to make sure that they get a true insight and excellent training to prepare them for working in such a wide and varied field together with the challenges this industry brings with it. She is providing them the exposure they will require to be empathic and self aware to be able to help others in crisis.
Kathryn comes with some 15 years of experience in the community services field from early intervention, child protection and out of home care both in the field and in leadership across government and non-government organisations. Driven by high quality child focused and trauma –informed practice for self and staff, best practice is ensured and is very professional. She holds a Graduate Diploma of Education and a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) and Certificate IV in relationship education. Kathryn is a pleasure to work with and is always there to help and support her students. Her professionalism and her paperwork are impeccable.
In 2021 Kathryn was voted Most Outstanding Tutor of the Year! Congratulations on all her efforts and success.
