COVID Safe at Atwea College

COVID Safe at Atwea College

Atwea College is now registered as a COVID Safe organisation with the NSW Government. This means that Atwea offers a range of accessible and safe learning options for students.

Atwea Executive Director Rowan Cox, said that the organisation moved quickly to ensure that its staff, students and all those who came into contact with the College’s eight campuses, were safe.

“Our number one priority is the immediate and ongoing safety of our community.

“As Covid19 continues to affect our world, Atwea moved quickly to ensure that, when needed, our community could access an appropriate mix of education and training courses in a ways that were safe, practical and appropriate to a changing world.

“With classes resuming in Term 3, our Covid Safe plan includes a range of measures to help all teachers, trainers, students and staff maintain safe and appropriate health practices and social distancing measures. We of course also remind our community of the critical need to isolate and test if feeling unwell,” she said.

Atwea College provides three key areas of education across its eight local campuses: its well-known lifestyle short courses, the award winning Alesco senior high school and job skills and career education options.
