Adult Learners Week awards night

We concluded the 2019 Adult Learners Week celebrations with our awards night to recognise those who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to learning and education. The Adult Learners Week Awards night was held on Thursday the 5th of September at Atwea’s Cooks Hill Campus.

We presented five awards on the night, recipients included; Donna Freeman who was awarded the Ray Sandy Memorial Award, Deborah Mercer who was the recipient of the Alan Melling Memorial Award, Mathew Condon who was presented with the Paul Mather Memorial Award, Ben Cox who won the Outstanding Tutor of the Year and Carmel Kentwell who was named the Outstanding Student of the Year.

The awards night was the perfect way to wrap up the 2019 Adult Learners Week and recongise the wonderful students we have here at Atwea. Congratulations again to all the award winners. – Executive Director, Ms Rowan Cox
